Located at the foot of the famous hill housing Lord Chandrasekhara Jew, Kapilas Science Park is the first open air Science Park in Odisha. Built over a land of 5 acres, the Park offers a wide range of interactive exhibits on Mechanics, Sound, Light and Perception for learning science through fun. The Park is also a rich source of bio-diversity that offers a scenic view for visitors, and hence an ideal location for organizing Nature Study Camps. People can also organize picnics in the Park with special permission. The Park also celebrates various commemorative days and occasions by organizing a series of educational extension activities amongst rural school children throughout the year.
